About the event
Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club, in partnership with SLSWA, will be facilitating an interagency training opportunity for patrolling members with St John Ambulance intern paramedics.
This hands on day will include scenarios with St John Ambulance crews, taking participants through primary and secondary response and extrication.
This is a fantastic opportunity for patrolling members to understand how skills as surf lifesavers can be utilised and integrated with other agencies’ responses to incidents.
The day will consist of practical (dry) scenarios with members as the first responders and then scenarios with St John Ambulance crews, which will take attendees through primary and secondary response and extrication.
