Caris Cup Club Marathon Results Season 2025/26

Congratulations to John Henderson who is the winner* of the Caris Cup Club Marathon for Season 2025/26 with suspiciously comfortable win 2 m 28 s in front of Stirling Stilwell and Kristie Orchard a further 1 m 38 s back. The handicapping saw the qualified finishers spread out over just over 5 mins. Stirling was fastest in 33 m 54 s, just over 3 minutes faster than Polly Pitcairn-Knowles in 36 m 57s.

Nine all-rounders (runners and/or swimmers) contested the Caris Cup Club Marathon this season. Kath Laws was first to the Pylon again and first across the line. Perhaps having a family engagement after the Caris Cup makes you swim and run faster! Kate Hutchinson was second across the line, choosing her own handicap. Polly was the final unqualified competitor, finishing in fourth place. Commiserations to Neve Stilwell who wasn't able to continue running beyond Peters Pool and walked back.

Thank you to Amity Stilwell and Hadley Stilwell for water safety. A massive thank you to Davina Goldthorpe for timekeeping and recording as well as taking photos. Swimming conditions were fantastic with flat conditions and clear water.
