Ed Jaggard Honoured for Service to SLSA HisTory Committee

Ed Jaggard OAM was honoured for his service to the SLSA History Committee at the 2025 SLSWA Awards of Excellence on Saturday 14 June 2025.

The presentation was made by Adam Weir, Chief Executive Officer, Surf Life Saving Australia in recognition of 18 years of dedicated service to the SLSA History Committee including 11 years as Chair.

From 2001 to 2006 Ed was responsible for the writing (involving coordinating nine writers in addition to chapters written by himself), editing and publishing of Between the Flags - One Hundred Summers of Australian Surf Life Saving.
