In 2015, Australian and New Zealand surf boat crews, including those from Cottesloe and Trigg Island, re-enacted the 1915 Gallipoli landing by ANZAC Forces. This was known as the Gallipoli 100.
To commemorate the 110th Anniversary of the ANZAC Landing, Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club held a ceremonial re-enactment of the dawn landing on Cottesloe Beach - The Gallipoli 110.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service was held at Cottesloe Beach at 6.45 am Friday 25 April 2025.
Swanny Boaties assembled 3 crews and all the Club's surf boats, to attend and participate in this year’s Gallipoli 110 ANZAC Day Dawn Landing Service. All surf boat crews looked fantastic in their club colours and the arrival of the boats and raising of the oars was timed to perfection.
