The 3rd Annual Margaret River Proficiency Weekend Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2026.
The Margaret River Proficiency weekend returns for its third year.
Swanny has been fortunate enough to book the SLSWA South West Development Centre in Margaret River for a cheeky long weekend from 30 October to 1 November 2026 (Friday night through to Sunday) this year.
The SLSWA South West Development Centre is a fully contained function centre with 74 beds in dormitory style accommodation, storage for lifesaving craft and equipment and with social and training areas.
It is a fantastic opportunity to get out of Perth, get your Proficiency done in an exciting different location, spend some social time with other Swanny members, do some sight-seeing, surfing, and wine-tasting in the beautiful Margaret River region –all at a very low cost!
You can come down any time from Thursday to Sunday and partake in any of the social and other activities. The Skills Maintenance session is scheduled for Saturday morning but may be moved to Sunday if conditions require.
This is an all Club family friendly event!
