Ocean M – Mixed / Family Team Event Results Season 2025/26

Congratulations* to Team Brigg - Jamie Brigg, Peter Brigg, Chris Brigg and Robbie Brigg who are the winners of the Ocean M - Mixed Family Team Event for Season 2025/26. This is Team Brigg's first win and second podium (3rd in the inaugural Ocean M - Mixed Family Team Event) from four attempts. Team Brigg led from start to finish, with Jamie running, Briggy swimming, Chris on board and Robbie on ski. Jamie and Briggy were fastest in their respective disciplines.


Second place was Team Stilwell – Hadley Stilwell, Neve Stilwell, Amity Stilwell and Stirling Stilwell, for the second successive event, again meeting both the mixed and family team criteria! Hadley ran, second 6 secs behind Team Brigg, Neve swam, only giving away 41 secs to Briggy, Amity board paddled, more than holding her own as all board times were within 12 secs of each other, with Stirling ski paddling, catching Tim at the M portage and overtaking him on the final paddle to finish second.


Third place was Team SoMiStTi – Soph Gallagher, Michelle Seymour, Steve Pegrum and Timothy Tucak. One of two Mixed only teams, Team SoMiStTi started in third place after Steve ran, before Michelle swam and put the team in second. Soph maintained this position in the board leg before the ski leg when Tim paddled to finish third, as for the second successive event, was overtaken in the ski leg by Stirling. Team SoMiStTi finished 11 secs behind Team Stilwell.


Fourth place was Team Simmonds & Co - Bernie Williams (and Ruby), Mark Grzanka, Maia Simmonds and Rhodri Simmonds, with Bernie running with Ruby for the first half of the run, Mark swimming, Maia paddling the board and Rhods paddling the ski, with the fastest ski time of the day.


Fifth place was Team HOWL - John Henderson, Kristie Orchard, Sarah Weinman and Ben Leonard. Ben ran before taking up timekeeping duties, Sarah swam, Hendo was the fastest board paddler on the morning and Kristie finished off with the ski paddle.
